A quiet walk to Wroclaw Botanical Garden
Enjoyable route with inspiring city nature to the Botanical Garden. Discover secret Ossolineum Garden. Be ready to take some awesome pictures.
It will appeal to people who love nature and appreciate beauty. This route offers a very idle, but still very pleasing way to spend time, walking among green gardens with fascinating views. I strongly recommend taking your camera with you.
Plac Solny. Flowers market. Fountain. Take coffee away
We start at the adorable place next to the central market square. The perfect location for waiting for someone is a fountain, surrounded by flower shops. Check out Paloma, an atmospheric coffee house, and take a cup of coffee away.
Treat yourself to a few moments by the fountain. Enjoy a couple of sips of coffee in the shadows. Look around. Fresh beautiful flowers are worth taking some pictures of.
Ossolineum Wroclaw Monastery Garden
Let's walk a few minutes along the old Yatki Street to the university yard, our next destination. You can find some curious and cute handmade little things sold in the stores along the road.
University yard and Ossolineum Monastery Garden, located together, are two tiny green oases hiding in the center of the city. Here you can snack on cakes, relax, and enjoy the calm atmosphere of a garden, hidden from the city. You can even have nap power here.
Ossolineum Monastery Garden has two entrances. I recommend checking the main one. Stop and look inside, through the gate. The framing here is awesome, take some pictures.
Botanical Garden with atmospheric greenhouses
Finally, we are moving to our leading destination, the Botanical Garden of the University of Wroclaw. The road will take us a few minutes. You will cross the bridge with a beautiful panorama of Tumski Island, where the garden is located. This garden is the second oldest one in Poland. You need to buy a ticket.
There is quite a large number of locations with various vibes here. Romantic zone with fountain again. Personally, I am delighted with little greenhouses each time, I visit the garden. It is so authentic and magical like you have your first herbology class.
You can find here many benches and tables with inspiring views, where you can spend a lot of time. There is also a cafe inside if you get hungry. This is the last location on our route, so take your time, take photos, shoot videos, and enjoy the nature and the views.
Blooming flowers. Rainy day
Visiting the Botanical Garden of Wroclaw in spring is a stroke of luck. Many zones offer cozy benches surrounded by blooming flowers.
Check the site's calendar for upcoming events such as the Magnolia Festival and Tulip Festival.
